Responsibilities
- Interpret seasonal direction and creative briefs from senior leadership.
- Create detailed CAD sketches, construction details, and print recolors with high proficiency.
- Develop silhouettes, prints, fabrications, and color palettes for assigned categories.
- Manage projects independently from concept to completion including design handoffs and approvals.
- Lead fittings and provide garment construction assessments and feedback.
- Prepare tech packs and production BOMs for costing and sourcing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, product development, technical design, licensing, and sales teams.
- Support sourcing with development sheets, approvals, and fabric/trim boards.
- Oversee junior designers ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely deliverables.
- Maintain PLM systems with up-to-date tracking, approvals, and style information.
- Organize sample racks, shipments, and market samples.
- Assist with trend presentations, market analysis, and seasonal assortment planning.
- Conduct market and trend research to identify new opportunities.
- Provide sales teams with competitive market intelligence and insights.
- Assist with organizing design files, coordinating shipment approvals, and preparing presentation materials.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field strongly preferred.
