Title: Human Resources Generalist 

Location: Herndon, VA- Remote work authorized 

Start: 1st week of September

Foxhole is seeking an enthusiastic HR Generalist to join our team while one of our team members is out on medical leave. This is a part-time, temporary position beginning the first week of September through mid-December.

Job Description

• Facilitate onboarding, including new hire orientation.
• Maintain employee personnel files and records using SharePoint and ADP.
• Advise on employee relations issues, including disciplinary and corrective actions; assist in mediation as needed.
• Manage offboarding processes, including employee terminations.
• Support the administration of employee benefit plans, including new hire benefits enrollment, open enrollment coordination, and qualified life events
• Monitor the HR inbox and respond to employee inquiries.
• Respond to employment verification and security requests.
• Assist with leave of absence processes (FMLA, ADA, etc.).
• Contribute to compliance initiatives including requirements for AAPs, and VETS-4212 reporting.
• Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws
• Provide occasional support to the internal recruiting team on sourcing and candidate tracking.
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across remote teams. 

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proven ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and tact

Desired Experience/Certifications

• PHR, SPHR, or SHRM/CP or SHRM/SCP certification
• Experience supporting a government contractor
