Career Ambassador (FWS/NFWS)
Purpose within the Organization:
The purpose of this position is to provide group or one on one support to ground traditional students who need help developing career-related documents, skills, and plans.
Responsibilities Related to Purpose:
- Provide coaching for students; reviewing resumes, profiles, cover letters, and other career-related documents.
- Support full-time advisor staff with student outreach, career support initiatives, and academic retention initiatives.
- Collect and maintain student data related to career development assistance, and Purpose Plan progress monitoring.
- Maintain confidentiality of student records and service provided.
- May be requested to perform administrative duties for the Center Operations as needed.

Qualifications:
- Have current 3.25 GPA or above and stellar written and verbal communication skills.
- Have passion and willingness to help others succeed.
- Possess strong ethics, integrity, and sense of responsibility.
- Previous mentoring experience.
- Ability to speak a second language a plus.

- Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
- Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
- Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
