Marketing Coordinator

Description

Plans and coordinates various marketing activities with the marketing manager, including statements of qualifications, collateral materials development, public relations and advertising programs, corporate identity development and implementation, special events, direct-mail programs, marketing database and market research activities.


Requirements

Essential Duties (Major Responsibilities/Activities):

  • Assists with preparing proposals, statements of qualifications, and requests for proposals. 
  • Updates marketing database for tracking marketing opportunities, project, and personnel data. 
  • Assists in creating reports monitoring marketing and proposal activities. 
  • Assists with the production of brochures, resumes, and other materials used to promote the firm. 
  • Assists with the development of the G70 corporate identity and its implementation. 
  • Engages professional photographers for photographing completed projects. 
  • Assist with updates to company’s web site. 
  • Coordinates content of email newsletters. 
  • Creates general and project-specific marketing presentations. 
  • Assists with the preparation and submittal of annual qualifications for city and state agencies. 
  • Assist with award submittals 
  • Coordinates with PR consultant company: press releases, public relations and publicity activities. 
  • Researches target markets and clients and helps develop strategy on marketing activities. 
  • Creates and submits company advertisements. 
  • Assist with managing G70 Social Media venues (Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook) 
  • Attends marketing group meetings 
  • Attends monthly public relations meetings with public relations/marketing consultants. 

Non-essential Duties:

  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or public relations preferred or other college degree or certification with 4-6 years relevant experience. 
  • Experience with architectural, construction and/or engineering firms is preferred; experience in other professional services sectors will be considered. 

Computer Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of programs including Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel and proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign 
  • Knowledge of WordPress or any web design software is preferred. 
  • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere or other video editing software is preferred. 

Other Skills

  • High energy, enthusiasm, and a dedicated work ethic are required. 
  • Strong organization, communication, and people skills. 
  • Attention to detail, high degree of problem-solving, and professional judgment. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form. 
  • Ability to foster relationships internally and externally. 
  • Manages one's own time (refers unusual circumstances to supervisor) 
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems 
  • Demonstrate use of sound discretion and independent judgment. 
  • Self-motivated/self-directed 
  • Familiarity with using a DSLR camera 

Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000/year
