Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Perform IT security assessments and remediation activities and ensure teams adhere to the organization's security policies and standards
Maintain technical ownership of security and IT tools
Manage enterprise tools and solutions that support the business
Handle access and accounts management
Serve as a technical escalation point for all security team alerts, incidents, and concerns
Evangelize IT security fundamentals, tools, and processes, and act as a consultative partner with IT and business teams
Provide technical troubleshooting and support
Participate in documentation and adherence to security policies, standards, and operating procedures
Participate as a key member in security incident response activities and daily security operational tasks
Perform evaluation and recommendation of current and future technology solutions to mitigate risk to the business
Perform routine and new initiative performance/policy optimizations to ensure the balance between security and productivity
Monitor and assess security industry trends, providing recommendations on emerging threats and technologies related to our current and future-state posture
Perform other duties as necessary
Requirements
2+ years of experience in Information Technology
Knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC 2 frameworks (preferred)
Strong understanding of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems
Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure Cloud
Strong analytical skills with ability to pull data and build reports
Strong technical troubleshooting skills
