Junior Product Design
Description
In Motion Design Inc. is looking for a proactive and organized Junior Product Designer to support our growing product development team. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who loves bringing physical products to life—from concept and design to factory communication and delivery.
This role includes frequent communication with overseas vendors, placing and tracking sample and bulk orders, creating shipping marks, and assisting with development timelines. You’ll be a key player in ensuring our products move efficiently from idea to shelf.

Requirements
Responsibilities:
· Support the product development process across multiple retail programs.
· Communicate directly with suppliers to request samples, confirm product specs, and place orders.
· Track sample and production orders and maintain detailed order logs.
· Create clear and accurate shipping marks, labels, and documentation.
· Help organize and maintain sample inventory.
· Collaborate with the design and sales teams to ensure production aligns with brand goals.
· Travel (domestic and international) to meet with suppliers or attend tradeshows as needed.
· Ensure production files, images, and product info are correct before sending to vendors.
Requirements:
· Minimum 1 year of experience in product development, sourcing, or a related field
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Excel/Google Sheets.
· Basic understanding of packaging and print specs.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and stay on top of deadlines.
· Willingness to travel and adapt in a fast-paced, creative environment.
· Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Nice Skills to have but not required:
· Experience working with overseas factories
· Knowledge of logistics, POs, and shipping documentation
· Understanding of retail displays or packaging design
· Bilingual abilities (Mandarin, Spanish, French, etc.)
