As a Staff Software Engineer, you’ll play a leading role in designing and building cutting-edge user interfaces and scalable systems that power advanced AI-driven restaurant applications. From developing high-performance front-end frameworks to collaborating across teams on product innovation, this role combines technical leadership with customer-focused problem-solving. You'll help shape tools used by both end consumers and enterprise teams, improving interactions and driving efficiency. This is a unique opportunity to work on impactful applications at the intersection of voice AI and hospitality technology.

Accountabilities:

• Lead end-to-end technical solutions for complex challenges, with a focus on front-end architecture.
• Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications used by customers and internal stakeholders.
• Partner with UX designers, product managers, and back-end engineers to create seamless, data-driven experiences.
• Continuously improve brand onboarding workflows and operational excellence tools.
• Design reusable component libraries and A/B testing frameworks to support rapid product iteration.
• Analyze user feedback and usage data to enhance user experience and drive measurable improvements.
• Contribute to long-term platform strategy and innovation initiatives.

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with expertise in modern front-end development.
• Deep knowledge of React (hooks, context, modern patterns), HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), and utility-first frameworks like Tailwind.
• Experience with Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or similar state management tools.
• Familiarity with data-fetching via GraphQL or REST and real-time frameworks (WebSocket, GraphQL Subscriptions).
• Proficiency in accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design implementation.
• Strong UI/UX sensibilities with attention to detail in pixel-perfect interfaces.
• Comfortable using design tools like Figma or Sketch; experience with D3.js or Recharts is a plus.
• Bonus: Experience with ClojureScript, Reagent, Reframe, or working in restaurant/hospitality SaaS environments.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication and a proactive, growth-oriented approach.

• Competitive base salary between $165,000 and $200,000 plus equity package.
• Fully remote position (excluding AL, AK, DE, IA, ME, MS, NH, ND, RI, SC, VT, WV, WI, WY).
