The Role: Logistics & Supply Chain Summer Internship - Fall Semester

Who You Are:

You are a university student currently enrolled in a logistics and supply chain program, ideally within 1 year of your graduation. You will perform a variety of tasks throughout the operations department, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, assembly, fleet management, ordering, and reports management.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform shipping cost calculations
• Track daily inbound and outbound inventory
• Monitor inventory levels and perform stock counts/cycle counts
• Assist with inventory metrics and reporting
• Log orders into ERP and inventory management systems
• Budgeting, to include financial forecasting, staffing estimates, and general resource allocation
• Automation process improvement
• Final Assembly of phones, kits, and other materials
• Shipping and packing orders for customers as well as field technicians
• Material ordering
• Fleet management responsibilities
• Perform all other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring:

• Currently enrolled as a university student in a Logistics and Supply Chain BA or BS program
• At least two years of coursework completed in Logistics & Supply Chain at the university level
• Expected graduation within the next calendar year
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
• A self-motivated, proactive individual who can work independently as well as in a team environment
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and capability to communicate with all levels of the organization
• Excellent math and analytical skills
• Able to follow specific instructions
• Good time management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more with or without assistance
