The instructor will teach undergraduate / graduate level courses in the Department of Accounting. A graduate level class my be considered if applicant has expertise in a specialized field. A typical teaching load is 4 courses in the Fall and 4 courses in the Spring.
Full time instructor will shadow the existing director of the Center for Internal Audit /Cybersecurity Risk Management to observe, learn and implement best practices for the students within the CIA /CRM program and develop key relationships with industry partners.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
50% - Teach Undergraduate / Graduate Classes in Accounting and / or Internal Auditing
50% - Serve as the Associate Director of the Center for Internal Audit /Cybersecurity Risk Management which will include working closely with the CIA/CRM Director in carrying out the major functions of the program (e.g., student recruitment, placement, employer engagement, etc.).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Level: PhD. in Accounting or business related discipline
Degree Substitute: Master's degree in Accounting or Master's degree in a closely related business field with the Certified Internal Auditor certification, CISA, CISSP, CISM or CPA with 5+ years of experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Level: PhD in Accounting or closely related business related field
Specific Experience: Industry related experience
