Sr. Project Scheduler

Luster is seeking a Sr. Project Scheduler experienced in managing large, heavy-civil rail transit project schedules. The role involves complex scheduling, risk mitigation, and leadership to ensure large-scale program success.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze CPM schedules including baseline and updates to identify critical and near critical paths, milestones, and impacts
  • Collect field progress data and produce look-aheads, variance reports, and earned-value forecasts
  • Run critical path and what-if analyses to evaluate sequencing options and recovery plans
  • Perform schedule-risk assessments and recommend contingencies using tools such as Monte Carlo simulations
  • Analyze schedules to reduce risk and recover delays by creating and evaluating alternative schedules
  • Conduct schedule audits ensuring data is risk ready
  • Support change orders and claims by preparing Time Impact Analyses linking delays to cost and contracts
  • Apply forensic scheduling principles to analyze contractor delay claims and owner risk
  • Continuously analyze schedules and provide alternatives to avoid delays
  • Use Earned Value Management techniques for KPI reporting
  • Integrate third-party interfaces, permitting, utility relocations, and procurement dependencies
  • Generate narrative reports and KPI dashboards for stakeholders
  • Apply schedule risk management techniques and support risk register updates

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field or equivalent experience
