What you'll be doing:
As the Director - BioNemo Software, you will:
Lead and encourage a large team of engineers to deliver flawless production software solutions
Coordinate the development, optimization and productization of deep learning models for drug discovery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of our software within the broader NVIDIA ecosystem
Drive the strategic vision and execution of building a path to enable drug discovery and biological discovery to happen in silicon
Identify and consistently follow standard methodologies in software engineering to guarantee our solutions are both robust and scalable.
Determine key applied research opportunities that enable simulation and workflow acceleration for biology and drug discovery
What we need to see:
15+ overall years of experience in leading large teams to successfully implement production software.
10 plus years of management experience.
Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with deep learning and its applications in drug discovery.
Strong background in computational methods and a track record of delivering world-class software solutions.
Outstanding leadership skills with a focus on collaboration and inclusion.
A Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, and/or or related fields in the Biological Sciences (advanced degrees preferred).

The base salary range is 308,000 USD - 471,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
