Senior Engineer, Middleware/Interface Developer
Skills
- Expertise in middleware platforms such as SAP BTP, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or equivalents
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and integration patterns
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid integration scenarios
- Programming skills in Java, JavaScript, Groovy, Python, ABAP, Shell Scripting, and TypeScript
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Strong knowledge of API security standards including OAuth2, JWT, and SAML
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement complex integration solutions across enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HCM, PLM, MES etc.)
- Lead development of APIs, event-driven integrations, and data pipelines using middleware platforms
- Define integration standards, best practices, and governance frameworks
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align integration strategies with business goals
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership in integration projects
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration performance and reliability
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement of integration platforms and DevOps pipelines
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field
- Middleware/integration certifications such as SAP BTP, MuleSoft Integration Architect, Dell Boomi, TIBCO, or TOGAF
