We are seeking a Junior Buyer who will be responsible for the procurement of packaging and raw materials for multiple Our-Home manufacturing facilities. This individual will report to the Director of Procurement Operations and must be detail oriented, flexible and adaptable to changing environments and have strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory of raw materials and packaging
- Execute purchasing strategies set forth by the Strategic Sourcing team
- Administer the Purchase Order Lifecycle for their respective plants
- Work closely with the Supply Planning and Plant Scheduling teams to support scheduling requirements
- Communicate the inbound deliveries to the plant receiving teams
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
- Assists with ensuring the ERP system (NetSuite) reflects accurate raw material inventories
- Ability to work in cross-functional department
- Other duties as assigned by manager
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or consumer goods environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed purchasing decisions based on market insights and data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
