Staff Software Engineer V - PagerDuty Automation
Skills
- Expertise in Java, Node.js, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Strong AWS cloud services knowledge (ECS/EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway).
- Experience with DevOps practices including infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation), CI/CD tooling, and observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus).

Responsibilities
- Define and lead technical vision, architecture, and strategic direction for PagerDuty Workflow Automation.
- Architect and deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions across multiple engineering teams.
- Collaborate with engineering management, product leadership, and stakeholders to identify key technology investments.
- Serve as a technical leader and mentor for senior engineers, fostering excellence in SaaS and cloud-native architectures.
- Own end-to-end lifecycle of technology initiatives, ensuring long-term operational excellence.
- Drive continuous improvements in engineering practices to boost productivity and customer experience.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
