Skills
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python programming.
- Experience with distributed data systems and modern data stack tools such as AWS, Snowflake, Dagster, and dbt.
- Knowledge of streaming technologies like Kafka or Flink for real-time data processing.
- Familiarity with data quality, observability, and monitoring practices.
- Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build end-to-end data platforms including ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and data access layers.
- Lead efforts to eliminate data silos and enable cross-domain collaboration.
- Design optimized database architecture and data schemas for large-scale multi-modal data.
- Implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to support experimentation, training, validation, and real-time deployments.
- Collaborate with machine learning and robotics engineers on data infrastructure needs.
- Establish data governance, reproducibility, and lineage standards.
- Develop data contracts and API specifications for reliable data exchanges.
- Write maintainable, production-grade Python and SQL code.
- Contribute to MLOps, observability, and CI/CD best practices for physical learning systems.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
