She Media: Flow Space Longevity Writer

The Longevity Writer will be a key member of the Flow Space editorial team, working closely with the Editor-in-Chief to create content for the emerging women’s health brand Flow Space. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable and passionate about longevity, optimization and innovation when it comes to midlife women’s health, and have a proven track record for creating best-in-class digital editorial content, both on site and off platform.

The role will also work closely with our Health Advisory Board and Health Cohort within the Collective to source and create science-driven health content. This includes interviewing experts and community members for articles, videos and live events with subject matter pertaining to longevity, innovation and healthspan. The Flow Space Longevity Writer will also stay on top of women’s health innovation and news to extract the latest health developments and services impacting women today.

The Longevity Writer should be traffic-minded and have excellent news judgement, the ability to write clean and fast copy, and knowledge on SEO best practices and how to package content for multiple distribution platforms.

The Work: 

• Pitch and write engaging high-quality health content for Flow Space with a focus on longevity, health optimization and innovation
• A clean, fast writer who can meet deadlines, produce 1 to 2 articles per day, including quick news hits, roundups and reported features
• Optimize content for SEO, social, syndication and other referral sources, and leverage traffic analytics to increase engagement and grow audience
• Build relationships and engage with external health experts
• Interview experts, advisory members and thought leaders in the women’s health in article and video format
• Moderate live event panels as needed
• Stay current on latest trends and developments in health to inform content strategies and communications
• Represent the Flow Space brand in market at events where appropriate
• E-commerce experience is a plus

The Fine Print:

• 3-5 years of professional writing/editing experience, specifically with online health and wellness brands
• Strong editorial judgment and ability to distill complex scientific information into easily digestible and engaging content for readers
• Well-versed in digital strategy, analytics and SEO best practices
• A passion for women’s health and strong roster of industry contacts

As PMC values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, employees work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture.

Typical wage range: $100k - $110k. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role.
