Infrastructure Migration Engineer (travel and remote) Secret clearance

We are seeking an experienced Migration Consultant with a strong background in VMware environments, disaster recovery solutions, and IT infrastructure migrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with leading DR tools—including Zerto, Veeam, Rubrik, and Commvault—to design, implement, and support complex data migration and protection strategies. This is a remote-first role, requiring approximately 20% travel to customer locations across six key sites within the continental U.S. The ability to collaborate with technical teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders is essential.

• Active Secret Security Clearance
• You can live anywhere USA but you must be able to travel 20% throughout the year.
• Extensive experience with VMware, including:
• Dependency mapping
• Planning and execution of virtual machine (VM) migrations

• Proficiency with disaster recovery and data protection platforms, including:

• Zerto — real-time replication and orchestration for business continuity and disaster recovery
• Veeam Backup & Replication — widely used for backup, recovery, and replication across virtual, physical, and cloud workloads
• Rubrik — unified platform for backup, recovery, and data management in hybrid cloud environments
• Commvault — enterprise-grade data protection solution offering backup, recovery, archive, and disaster recovery for complex IT infrastructures

• Strong foundational understanding of networking concepts and protocols
• Excellent customer-facing communication skills, with experience engaging both virtually and in person
