Responsibilities
- Act as primary compliance liaison for research analysts within the Canvas team
- Conduct onboarding due diligence of new consultants and oversee annual evaluations
- Chaperone and document consultant calls for Canvas research analysts
- Monitor communications between Canvas research analysts and investment professionals
- Track and document chaperoned calls in compliance management system ensuring proper coverage
- Coordinate with finance department on quarterly invoicing and payments complying with data privacy laws
- Participate in compliance training for research analysts
- Develop and implement strategies to improve compliance processes
- Stay current on applicable laws, regulations, and case law
- Recommend and draft enhancements to policies and procedures
Education
- GPA of 3.0 or greater
