Senior Web Engineer - Compliance Software Engineering
Skills
- Proficiency in front-end languages including Javascript, Typescript, ES6
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as LIT, Polymer, React, Vue, or Angular and CSS
- Knowledge of GraphQL, REST, HTTP, and basics of Thrift, with ability to design maintainable APIs
- Experience with distributed caching layers and large scale distributed data storage systems
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills to deliver projects on schedule
Responsibilities
- Adapt platforms to evolving privacy, security, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams company-wide to ensure platform compliance
- Help establish and guide the new Compliance Engineering team, including roadmap, processes, and execution
- Contribute across the full development cycle including design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch
- Coordinate high-impact, cross-functional business-critical projects and features
- Set standards to improve developer workflows and recommend best practices
- Mentor junior engineers to grow their technical expertise
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
