Skills
- Strong engineering fundamentals in process improvement, metal forming, and mechanics of materials
- Deep knowledge of metallic manufacturing processes, tools, inspection methods, GD&T
- Proficiency in 3D & 2D design/drafting skills (ASME Y14.5M standard, NX preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills
Responsibilities
- Own the roll former work center ensuring delivery of all rolled products and process improvements
- Develop and bring online a press break work center capable of forming up to 20’ sheets
- Create and standardize work instructions, specifications, and best practices across processes
- Support shop floor with live issue resolution and provide upstream feedback for manufacturing tech innovation
- Provide Design for Manufacturing feedback during development and prototype builds
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or related engineering discipline
