Sales Development Representative

Schrödinger is a leader in computational chemistry software and services focused on preclinical drug discovery. They are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative with a science background to join their Northeastern US sales team, driving new business opportunities in pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.

Skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Customer-oriented problem solving
  • Ability to identify and engage prospects effectively
  • Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce

Responsibilities

  • Execute 50-100 daily outreach activities via email, LinkedIn, and phone calls
  • Generate a minimum of two sales accepted leads per week
  • Prepare and attend conferences to meet sales objectives
  • Develop and maintain strong account relationships through communication and problem-solving
  • Provide client feedback to Product Managers and Support teams
  • Support Account Management with prospecting and lead qualification
  • Track sales activities and progress using Salesforce CRM
  • Collaborate with marketing on prospecting campaigns

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related science field
