The Surface Training Systems (STS) Program Office is the OPNAV single point of contact for strategic program planning, policy, acquisition, life-cycle management, research and development, and technical insertion into all existing and future Navy Surface Training Systems. This position requires work in the office and visit the customer in the Washington Navy Yard on a regular basis. Therefore, flexibility to a hybrid work schedule is required.
This position supports NAVSEA in the acquisition, stand-up and lifecycle support for new combat systems, high-tech trainers for the Navy. Develops and evaluates plans for training systems supporting modernization, new construction acquisition programs. Assesses and recommends the feasibility of proposed approaches to solve problems. Possesses knowledge of AEGIS Weapons Systems and applicable Navy Combat Systems training and operational mission areas and training system requirements.
You will be part of a large team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality training solutions to the Surface Navy. This team has been recognized by the Navy and the industry for their outstanding contributions to the contract and program.
