Skills
- Experience with AI software engineering and full stack development
- Proficiency in Python, C++ or similar programming languages
- Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Machine Learning model training and fine tuning expertise
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools like PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases including PostgreSQL and vector databases
- Containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes
- Linux systems development
- Version control, testing, CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring
- Frontend development experience with React or similar frameworks
- Strong understanding of statistics and machine learning algorithms
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable and reliable AI pipelines supporting engineering across departments
- Create innovative AI applications to revolutionize day-to-day engineering operations
- Build AI-driven tools for data review and testing of space hardware
- Collaborate on architecture, design, and code reviews with engineering teams
- Prototype and validate key AI concepts and technical constraints
- Own end-to-end AI software engineering and product development
- Investigate engineering problems to design efficient AI solutions
- Develop security policies for data protection and robust AI standards
- Ensure AI system accuracy and reliability through thorough vetting
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, math, or physics; OR 4+ years professional software experience in lieu of degree
