Responsibilities
- Develop and implement contract management processes to ensure successful project execution.
- Create sourcing strategies to reduce risk and meet purchasing targets including cost savings and payment terms.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to optimize category sourcing models.
- Drive compliance with category strategies and manage supplier performance, including SLAs and KPIs.
- Identify and lead cost reduction projects and continuous cost optimization initiatives.
- Perform financial and business process analyses for assigned categories.
- Collaborate with legal to create contract documents and manage supplier contract obligations.
- Negotiate strategically to maximize value and reduce risk.
- Manage purchase orders and resolve invoice issues for assigned categories.
- Establish and maintain preferred supplier programs and performance monitoring.
Education
- Advanced degree with 4+ years experience or bachelor's degree with 6+ years experience, or 10+ years relevant experience
- Background in engineering, purchasing, operations, supply chain, construction, or facilities management
