Responsibilities
- Design and develop next-generation structures, mechanisms, or interior systems for Crew Starship vehicles
- Perform hand calculations and finite element analysis (FEA) to optimize designs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure proper integration of hardware
- Lead internal and external design reviews including with NASA
- Manage project delivery timelines from design through launch and recovery
- Perform trade studies to optimize cost, schedule, safety, and performance
Education
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
