Customer Service Representative/Inside Sales Rep - SDI SRD

Overview

Customer Service / Inside Sales duties encompassing complete account management. Travel to meet customers and participate in industry events is possible

Responsibilities

  • Handle daily customer service functions including answering phone calls and emails in a timely manner, accurate and timely order entry, and manage territory order backlog from entry through shipment
  • Assist customers with all their daily needs including product availability, accurate and timely price quotes, troubleshooting, and delivery questions
  • Communicate daily with all outside sales representatives and work directly with all mill departments effectively and professionally
  • Handle strong personalities and difficult customers with professionalism
  • Understand many concepts including freight equalization, system applications and various pricing scenarios

Qualifications

Required

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to handle high volume with sharp attention to detail
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Organizational skills and accuracy a MUST
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and willing to help teammates daily
  • Travel is required

Preferred

  • Customer Service or relevant experience
  • 4-Year Degree
  • Experience with “Salesforce” application
