Member of the Technical Staff — Full Stack

About the Role

Stuut is an engineering-driven company on a mission to build the best engineering team and product on the market for B2B financial operations. We are seeking exceptional engineers across the entire stack to join us as part of our founding team. We look for individuals with a broad set of technical skills, who are highly cross-functional, and eager to solve a wide range of engineering challenges. Our ideal candidate has a strong sense of ownership and thrives on owning projects from inception to scaling in production.

What You’ll Do

• Drive our full stack technical vision through cross-functional collaboration across product, design, and engineering teams.

• Lead discussions and implementation of multiple complex projects spanning frontend user experiences, backend APIs, database architecture, and system integrations.

• Build end-to-end features from database schema design to polished user interfaces, ensuring seamless data flow and optimal performance.

• Design and implement robust backend services, APIs, and microservices while crafting intuitive frontend experiences.

• Continuously improve our engineering processes, tools, and systems that allow us to scale our codebase, productivity, and team across the entire stack.

• Recruit, interview, and develop high-caliber full stack engineers, and foster a culture of excellence, velocity, and humility.

• Engage with customers to inspire and solve their most challenging problems through comprehensive technical solutions.

What You Need

• A minimum of 5+ years of full stack software engineering experience, with a proven track record leading and delivering high-quality products at scale across frontend and backend technologies.

• Must have extensive experience with both Python and TypeScript, with demonstrated ability to build robust backend services and modern frontend applications.

• Strong experience with database design and optimization, API development, and system architecture.

• Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular) and backend frameworks (Django, FastAPI, Flask, or Node.js).

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong desire to work at an early-stage company, building full stack systems and processes from the ground up.

• Willingness to engage directly with customers, understanding their needs, and translating them into comprehensive engineering solutions spanning the entire technology stack.

• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

• A commitment to continuously grow and master your craft across multiple technologies, with a relentless focus on customer pain points and how to address them through full stack solutions.
