Job Details:
This position is located at the J.J. Pickle Research Campus in North Austin. This position is a one year assignment. The end date will be one year after date of hire with the possibility of extension due to performance and project funding.
To support research, analysis, and stakeholder engagement for energy and resource policy issues in Texas, including electricity markets, decarbonization of upstream oil and gas, water management, critical mineral development, and related infrastructure and regulatory topics.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Experience in Texas policy-making or legislative processes.
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
Familiarity with stakeholder engagement, including rural/regional community outreach.
Proficiency in regulatory research, legislative tracking tools, and policy modeling or statistical tools.
