Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Lead and mentor accounting team, ensuring best practices and professional growth
- Prepare financial reporting packages for internal stakeholders and Audit Committee
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, stock plan administration, and SEC reporting adhering to US GAAP and regulations
- Coordinate and support annual audit activities with external auditors
- Maintain and develop accounting policies, process documentation, and internal controls
- Implement and monitor SOX 404 controls over financial reporting
- Drive continuous improvements in financial systems and workflows
- Collaborate cross-functionally to address accounting implications of business activities
- Oversee stock-based compensation accounting and reporting
- Engage in ad hoc projects and system implementations as needed
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- CPA certification preferred
