In Home Special Education Teacher

🔍 What You’ll Do
As a Special Education Teacher focused on early intervention, you’ll deliver individualized, high-impact educational services in home settings. You’ll work collaboratively within a nurturing and professional team, while maintaining autonomy over your schedule and caseload.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide direct in-home special education instruction for children aged Birth–2
- Create and implement customized lesson plans aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborate with families, therapists, and supervisors to support holistic development
- Maintain clear documentation and progress notes
- Participate in ongoing team meetings and professional training sessions
🎓 What You’ll Need
- Master’s Degree in Special Education (Required)
- NYS Certification in Students with Disabilities (Birth–2) or Permanent NYS Special Education Certification (Required)
- Experience working with young children in special education or early intervention (Preferred)
💼 Job Details
- Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
- Pay Rate: $60.00–$70.00/hr (Fee-for-service model)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 24–40 hours/week
- Location: Services delivered in children's homes (localized caseloads to reduce commute)
