POSITION SPECIFICS
Penn State Global is seeking a dedicated and student-centered International Student Support Adviser to join the team. This role provides critical advising and advocacy for international students, helping them navigate academic, cultural, and immigration-related challenges in support of their personal growth, well-being, and overall success at Penn State.
The adviser supports the success of Penn State’s international student population by providing advising on immigration regulations, academic matters, and cultural or personal concerns. The position serves as a Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO), maintaining compliance through the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS). Also, this role ensures accurate student record management and collaborates with colleagues across Penn State Global to advance the unit’s mission of fostering global engagement and student success.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree

SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $46,400.00 - $67,300.00.
