Junior Paid Media Specialist (Onsite)

Weedmaps is a leading technology company in the cannabis industry, looking for a Junior Paid Media Specialist to support their Marketing team in driving scalable growth through paid search and performance marketing campaigns.

Skills

  • Paid search and performance marketing expertise
  • Experience with Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other DSPs
  • Analytical skills for KPI assessment
  • A/B testing and experimentation mindset
  • Cross-functional collaboration
  • Keyword research and audience segmentation
  • Campaign data reporting and optimization
  • Basic ad copywriting adhering to brand guidelines
  • Experience with tracking and analytics tools such as GA4 and UTM parameters

Responsibilities

  • Assist in paid search strategy and execution to scale growth and enhance customer lifetime value.
  • Optimize paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other platforms to maximize reach and ROI.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements to boost user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing, and Data teams to develop ad creatives and optimize landing pages.
  • Support growth projections and budget alignment with Finance and Product teams.
  • Test and onboard new marketing platforms and ad agencies as needed.
  • Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and budget allocation.
  • Prepare performance reports and analyze campaign KPIs such as CTR, CPC, CPA, and ROAS.
  • Maintain paid media accounts and ensure compliance with tracking and reporting standards.
  • Document processes and optimizations in internal SOPs.
  • Work with Lifecycle team to track user retention and engagement.

Education

  • BA/BS degree preferred
