- Manage and oversee all US federal, state, and local tax matters, including corporate income tax, sales/use tax, and other indirect taxes.
- Ongoing assistance with US tax reporting processes, including sales tax reporting while making sure all deadlines are met, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform sales tax nexus analysis and support tax registration processes in new jurisdictions as needed.
- Support the development and implementation of internal tax/VAT/GST policies.
- Monitor changes in US tax legislation and assess potential impact on the company’s operations.
- Communication with IRS and local Authorities to resolve ongoing income Tax, sales/use tax and states tax issues or tax audits.
- Provide tax guidance on business initiatives, new product launches, and contract reviews with a focus on sales tax implications.
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors and ensure accurate and timely execution of tax filings and other reporting.
- Collaborate with the finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure tax- compliant processes and accurate reporting.
- Assists with special projects on an as needed basis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field: CPA preferred.
- Experience working at a multinational tech compan
- 5–8 years of relevant US tax experience, ideally with a mix of public accounting and in-house roles at a multinational company
- Solid understanding of US federal and state corporate tax
- Strong expertise in US indirect tax (sales/use tax) including nexus determination, compliance, and audit defense
- Experience working with external tax providers and ERP/tax software (e.g. Avalara, etc.).
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- High-level organizational and project management skills

Compensation
Starting compensation will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's job-related experience, skills and geographic location. Your Talent Partner can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
This role is eligible to participate in Wiz’s equity plan and may also include incentive compensation.
