JOB SUMMARY

The primary focus of this role will be to support the Project Management team in meeting project deadlines, goals, and financial targets. The Program Manager will be responsible for establishing and monitoring processes that lead to improving efficiencies within the Project Management department. The Program Manager will be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with team members, subcontractors, vendors and other department leaders. They will ensure that team is working toward the strategic objectives of the department and company. They will also supervise the Project Management team to ensure that they are successful.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Frequently required to sit, bend, reach, grab and twist.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch.
  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.

  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust and focus.
  • Frequently required to type, process information and use fine finger manipulation.
  • Must possess the ability to make decisions for the company.

JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Supervise Project Management team to ensure stakeholders expectations are met on projects.
  • Manage and monitor project management tools to optimize department efficiencies. 
  • Monitor project deadlines and deliverables for the Project Management department. 
  • Ensure that team members are following processes and executing on deliverables. 
  • Resolving issues with team members and stakeholders. 
  • Develop and execute strategic plans that lead to customer satisfaction. 
  • Manage resources and budgets for department. 
  • Establish department goals, tasks, and timelines. 
  • Maintain in depth knowledge of project management tools such as Basecamp, Monday.com, and others used to execute daily functions. 
  • Assist with the development of department documentation and training guides. 
  • Prepare reports and update Director of Multi-Family about department opportunities and objectives. 
  • Maintain and utilize project management tools. 
  • Work with other department managers to build efficiencies and improve project implementations and workflows. 
  • Develop comprehensive and repeatable training programs for Project Management department. 
  • Ensure that team has the necessary tools and resources to deliver successful projects and maintain customer relationships.

  • Must manage themselves and the department with integrity. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to execute/implement on strategic initiatives.
  • Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization.
  • Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficient at various project management tools. 
  • Strong mentoring, coaching experience to a team with diverse levels of expertise.
  • A team player with the ability to multitask. 
  • Self-reliant, good problem solver, results oriented
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team player who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical initiatives
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Must adhere to all safety and housekeeping policies and guidelines.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Experience.
  • 10+ years of project management experience.  
  • PMP nice to have
  • Business related computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
