Responsible AI Review Program Manager

* We're considering candidates based in the United States, and those who have the ability to work in the U.S. without any type of visa sponsorship. Please note that we offer W2 employment and benefits to individuals located in Washington state or Texas. Candidates located in any other state would be operating as a 1099 contractor. This individual must also be comfortable working PST hours

Work Location Flexibility: Currently, this role provides the option for remote work; however, flexibility from our consultants is crucial for both our team and clients. Our project activities are dictated by client requirements, which, at times, might necessitate in-person collaboration. Should a client’s onsite or return-to-office policy evolve, consultants must comply with those expectations. We strive to offer as much advance notice and assistance as possible in such circumstances that arise.*

As a Responsible AI Review PM for AG Consulting Partners, a typical day might include the following:

  • Reviewing Responsible AI (RAI) Impact Assessments and providing clear, actionable feedback based on HR Divisional Lead guidance and internal Responsible AI standards.
  • Evaluating AI-enabled systems, agents, and third-party technology implementations and making initial recommendations for approval or rejection, supported by compliance documentation and oversight.
  • Analyzing associated system deliverables (such as post-launch support plans, monitoring documents, and scope outlines) to ensure alignment with Responsible AI policies and best practices, such as fairness monitoring, human-in-the-loop safeguards, and abuse prevention.
  • Tracking engagement status and updates in the HR RAI Program Case Management Tool to ensure ongoing visibility and accountability across initiatives
  • Responding to inquiries from stakeholders across HR and the Responsible AI, Privacy, Legal, and Data Governance teams, offering thoughtful guidance and fostering a culture of ethical AI development.
  • Navigating complex or ambiguous compliance scenarios by driving clarity, prompting stakeholders to think analytically, and recommending risk-aware, scalable solutions—grounded in Responsible AI principles and policy expectations.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with peers across the HR RAI team, the Office of Responsible AI, and other compliance functions to align on strategy and maintain high standards of AI governance throughout the lifecycle—from intake through post-deployment monitoring.
  • Applying project management best practices—balancing strategic thinking with attention to detail, ensuring strong communication, and proactively addressing blockers or risks
  • Quickly developing subject matter expertise on evolving AI compliance requirements by engaging with internal documentation, prior case reviews, and team mentorship.
  • Educating technical and non-technical stakeholders about Responsible AI standards to ensure thorough documentation and compliance.
  • Identifying new Responsible AI risk areas and proactively flagging potential issues to the HR Division Lead.

This job is for you if:

  • You’re energized by reviewing AI use cases and impact assessments, identifying gaps, and helping teams interpret Responsible AI compliance requirements with clarity.
  • You’re detail-oriented and analytical, with a strong risk-based mindset and the ability to think critically about how AI systems, algorithms, and agents impact people, processes, and outcomes.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments with lots of ambiguity and enjoy working independently while still being highly collaborative.
  • You’re a natural communicator who can clearly present your point of view and influence stakeholders across legal, engineering, HR, and leadership teams.
  • You love building and improving processes, from tracking program engagement to evaluating post-launch support, monitoring, and oversight plans.
  • You learn quickly, ask great questions, and aren’t afraid to say “I’ll find out” when something is outside your expertise.
  • You’re passionate about ethical and responsible AI and want to play a role in helping teams develop AI solutions that are transparent, fair, and accountable.

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience in compliance, privacy, security, or AI risk governance.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing AI assessments, applications, or technology deployments to determine compliance with internal or external policies.
  • Proven ability to interpret compliance requirements and clarify ambiguous or emerging AI guidance.
  • Strong project management skills, including strategic thinking, attention to detail, and ability to manage timelines and cross-functional deliverables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and present findings clearly and credibly.
  • Analytical mindset with a risk-based approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to evaluate AI capabilities and potential misuses or unsupported uses, and prompt system owners or stakeholders to think critically.
  • Quick learner who can independently ramp up on AI concepts, documentation, and technical or regulatory guidelines.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Strong sense of curiosity, adaptability, and a collaborative working style.
  • Ability to leverage past compliance experience to handle changing requirements effectively

You might also have:

  • Experience working with or within global technology companies in a similar compliance, privacy, or AI governance function, either as a technologist, engineer, attorney, or compliance specialist.
  • Familiarity with Responsible AI frameworks (e.g., EU AI Act, U.S. NIST AI RMF), data protection practices (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), or regulatory expectations related to AI.
  • Exposure to HR systems or processes, particularly as they relate to AI governance, data ethics, or employee trust.
