Job Title: Associate, Fixed Income Risk Management

Job Duties: Regularly monitor portfolio risks and presenting pertinent analyses on markets, portfolio risk and performance drivers to portfolio management teams. Partner with various groups within BlackRock in developing new and improving existing analytics and quantitative models to advance the state of quantitative risk management. Understand how macroeconomic factors and market dynamics drive the investment decision-making process. Help portfolio managers with portfolio construction and scenario analysis.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field. 36 months of experience in Job offered or related occupation. Requires 36 months of experience involving each of the following: 1. Risk management of investment portfolios; 2. Fixed income products, investments and analytics, and utilizing equity risk management; 3. Explaining investment strategies to influence portfolio risk decisions; 4. Applying quantitative techniques to real-world problems including analyzing portfolio risk taking and understanding financial markets; 5. Using factor models, scenario analysis, stress testing and performance attribution; and 6. Coding using Python.

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$130,500.00 - USD$155,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
