Business Description:
This role will work within the Global AML team to support the maintenance and development of the Global AML program.
Job Description:
Responsible for conducting sanctions and adverse new screening for prospective clients and related parties (e.g., directors, signatories, and beneficial owners) using third party vendor tool and public sources to identify adverse media, sanctions risk and/or politically exposed persons (PEPs)
Review and document Customer Identification Requirements (CIP) and Know Your Customer requirements for new investors
Review and disposition of daily alerts in proprietary database
Ensure timely and accurate review and disposition of potential matches received from FinCEN under Section 314(a) of the USA PATRIOT Act
Assist with ad-hoc global projects as required
Work on ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications:

The successful candidate must meet the following qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent degree
General knowledge of AML/CTF legal framework
General knowledge of and experience in adverse news screening
Strong investigative/analytical skills, able to formulate and clearly articulate a supportable rationale behind the decisioning of “alerts” within cases
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate potential money laundering risks
Strong organizational skills and detailed oriented
Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple, competing priorities, as well as deadlines.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and research skills
Strong work ethic
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (pivot tables, charts, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

Expected annual base salary range:
$90,000 - $125,000Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
