A certified anesthesia assistant provides comprehensive anesthesia plan of care delegated within the framework of the supervisory agreement with a licensed anesthesiologist.
Our anesthesia care team provides services in Missouri at our main campus. We offer a high level of acuity, coverage of all specialties, and encourage autonomy and growth. Anesthetists have a variety of shifts available, including 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, and average 8 weekend day call shifts per year. No weekday call.
The anesthesia care team at CMH includes physicians, anesthetists, residents, and fellows. Anesthetists serve as paid preceptors to rotating anesthesia students and have opportunities to serve on department and hospital-wide committees. The perioperative team at CMH provides exceptional patient care and creates an environment of inclusion, support, and encouragement.
