Overview

Uses professional nursing knowledge and judgement.This position will be primarily working with pulmonary diseases- specifically Cystic Fibrosis (CF), Asthma and Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD). Participate in or lead day to day operations of clinical research studies conducted by principal investigator(s); perform a variety of duties involved in the collection, compilation, documentation, and analysis of clinical research data. May oversee the work of junior staff and train or mentor others in clinical research tasks.

If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree BSN and 3-5 years experience experience a Clinical Research Coordinator or equivalent (CRC)
  • One of the following: Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hire
  • One of the following: Licensed RN - Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hire
  • RN Compact license for all states besides KS and MO
  • One of the following: Certified Clinical Research Coordinator, Certified Clinical Research Associate, Certified Clinical Research Professional, Assoc of Clinical Research Professionals - Cert Professional, Assoc of Clinical Research Professionals - Medical Device Pr, Assoc of Clinical Research Professionals - Project Manager required upon hire
  • Employees must obtain Certified Clinical Research Professional or equivalent within 365 days
  • Employees must obtain Certified Clinical Research Coordinator or equivalent within 365 days
  • Employees must obtain Assoc of Clinical Research Professionals - Medical Device Pr or equivalent within 365 days
  • Employees must obtain Assoc of Clinical Research Professionals - Cert Professional or equivalent within 365 days
  • Refer to Nursing and Advanced Practice Provide Licensure and Certification policy for required Life Support Certifications Required Upon Hire
  • ACRP-PM Assoc of Clinical Research Professionals- Project Manager, OR Required 1 Year
  • ACRP-MDP Assoc of Clinical Research Professionals- Medical Device Professional Required 1 Year

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $31.31/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

 

 

Remote Work/Work from Home

This is an intermittent remote position, which means that the person hired will work with his or her manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and on-site hours at a Children’s Mercy location. The incumbent must live in the Kansas City metro area.
