Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership to meet business objectives and ensure legal compliance
- Provide legal advice on lien laws and trust statutes
- Support collection and recovery on non-performing assets
- Monitor compliance frameworks and identify risks proactively
- Advise on complex legal concepts efficiently
- Participate in product and cross-functional initiatives
- Coordinate with outside counsel to optimize litigation and collections
- Draft, negotiate, and review client and vendor contracts
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in New York State
