Job Description

Dewberry is currently seeking a Site Acquisition Agent/Specialist for our Site Acquisition services team in the telecommunications market segment. The ideal candidate would be in Boston, MA, Fairfax, VA, Baltimore, MD, Parsippany, NJ, Richmond, VA and Orlando, FL market office locations. We are open to remote candidates who meet the position criteria.

Our growing, fast-paced telecommunications business sector is seeking a client focused, highly motivated, organized, outgoing, and aggressive individual for site acquisition projects.  The site acquisition agent  is responsible for performing site acquisition services for new site builds, site modifications, distributed antenna systems, small cell systems and other entitlement services associated with wireless and wireline projects.  Identifies in conjunction with the market and the client the need, feasibility, time frame and scope of work for acquisition of telecommunications facilities.  Tracks project deliverables for project performance including schedules and oversees projections for timely achievement of milestone complete dates for project(s) in the quantity and at the rate required by the client contract.

Dewberry offers a comprehensive and very competitive package of insurance programs to regular full-time employees and their eligible dependents the first of the month following their date of hire. Additional insurances, at no cost to the employee: life (employee only), accidental death and dismemberment, business travel and accident, and short- and long-term disability are also provided. Responsibilities

The site acquisition agent should have experience with entitlement services on full “turn-key” development projects in a team environment in the telecom market segment. Responsibilities include working collaboratively with Dewberry’s telecom market segment teams on our projects, and at times reporting schedules and forecasts of tasks on a site by site basis to our clients.

The successful candidate will report to one of our Site Acquisition Project Managers and be responsible for successful execution of our site acquisition services, client satisfaction, project delivery, technical quality, and coordinating site acquisition services within an established network of offices. The candidate will have access to corporate technical expertise and resources in addition to the demonstrated subject matter experts within the Telecommunications Team.

Required Skills & Required Experience

Required skills and experience:

  • BS degree preferred and 2-5 years of site acquisition experience overall, on wireless and wireline projects.
  • Previous experience working for wireless and wireline clients delivering integrated services required.  Candidates with a strong understanding and experience working in a collaborative manner as part of a design-build Team for telecom projects is desired.  
  • Recognized technical expertise in and knowledge of wireless telecommunication market and infrastructure – entitlement services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong skills using Microsoft programs including excel, word and power point are required.

Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.

Salary Range

The projected range for this position in the following locations are:

  • Parsippany, NJ: $68,775-$88,425
  • Baltimore, MD: $66,850-$85,950
