Intake Coordinator (Remote)

Ennoble Care is a mobile primary care, palliative care, and hospice service provider committed to delivering in-home care to patients with chronic conditions across multiple states. They are looking for a dedicated Intake Coordinator to manage patient intake processes efficiently and maintain strong communication while adhering to privacy regulations.

Skills

  • Knowledge of insurance processes and clinical coding
  • Understanding of medical terminology
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including spreadsheet applications
  • Ability to interpret policies, regulations, and medical charts
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in document examination

Responsibilities

  • Manage prior authorization requests and monitor their status
  • Communicate with patients to obtain insurance information
  • Answer phones and receive referral and intake information
  • Complete referral and intake forms and route for admission approval
  • Assist in scheduling the appropriate clinician for each case
  • Verify Medicare coverage and benefit periods
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with coworkers across departments
  • Perform other remote assigned tasks and duties

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent is typically required
