Responsibilities
- Provide legal support for commercial transactions including drafting and negotiating licensing, service, partner agreements, and NDAs
- Assist in customer RFP responses and improving the RFP process
- Develop legal templates and training materials to scale legal resources
- Lead and support legal projects related to corporate governance, compliance, and privacy
- Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions
- Build strong relationships with business leaders and communicate legal risks and solutions
Education
- J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Membership or eligibility for Illinois state bar under in-house counsel rules
