About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to lead our financial planning and analysis (FP&A) efforts across the organization. This role is responsible for developing and managing financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics that support executive decision-making and business planning.
 

The ideal candidate will work closely with leaders in operations, sales, purchasing, and accounting to analyze results, identify trends, and guide continuous improvement. You’ll play a central role in driving insight and visibility into financial performance across multiple business units and locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and distribution of monthly financial reporting packages, including consolidated P&L, variance analyses, segment performance, and key metrics
• Coordinate and manage the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes in collaboration with leadership and department heads
• Analyze performance trends, cost drivers, revenue patterns, and profitability by segment, location, and business line
• Create and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to support financial visibility and operational decision-making
• Provide ad hoc analysis and modeling for capital investments, pricing scenarios, and strategic initiatives
• Support new business integration by aligning financial reporting structures, KPIs, and forecasting models
• Act as the financial liaison for leaders in operations, sales, and purchasing, helping translate business activity into meaningful financial insights
• Partner with the Accounting team to ensure accurate month-end accruals, account classifications, and reporting consistency
• Recommend and implement improvements to FP&A processes, tools, and templates
• Support board reporting, lender reporting, and other external stakeholder presentations

Requirements

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

· 6–10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or business analysis

· Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; ability to manipulate large datasets and create dynamic models

· Experience preparing management reporting packages and supporting cross-functional teams

· Strong understanding of financial statements, forecasting techniques, and variance analysis

· Comfortable working across departments and with executive leadership

· High attention to detail, analytical rigor, and strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

· MBA or CPA/CMA designation

· Experience in multi-entity or multi-location organizations

· Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, NetSuite Analytics, or similar)

· Background in construction, distribution, or project-driven businesses

· Experience with acquisition integration or private equity-backed environments
