Skills
- 10-15 years experience leading design teams and working directly with end users
- Proven expertise blending hospitality, residential, and workplace design
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam
- Strong knowledge of building codes and construction documentation
- Excellent communication skills for articulating complex design ideas
- Project management capabilities to prioritize multiple complex projects
- Ability to collaborate in a virtual, distributed team environment
- Willingness to travel within the US for site visits and events
Responsibilities
- Create high-level design narratives and translate strategic placemaking ideas into compelling visual and written stories
- Oversee select design projects from schematic design through construction administration and launch
- Collaborate with Real Estate, Operations, and product development teams on concepting and programming
- Specify and manage FF&E including furniture, artwork, and greenery with vendors
- Support hospitality service evolution in collaboration with Tenant Experience and Operations
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Construction, Real Estate, Operations, consultants, and vendors
- Identify and implement design workflow and efficiency improvements
- Champion design vision and uphold brand standards
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design
