Vice President, Data and Business Intelligence

This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to shape and drive the comprehensive data and analytics strategy of a dynamic, rapidly growing company. You will lead a talented team responsible for consolidating diverse data sources, building advanced analytics and machine learning models, and delivering actionable business insights that empower decision-making across departments. Operating in a fully remote environment, this role demands a strategic mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to balance technical expertise with business acumen to support scalable, data-driven growth.

Accountabilities:

• Develop and implement a company-wide data and analytics strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Lead the design and maintenance of scalable data architecture, governance, and integrity frameworks.
• Oversee the integration of multiple data sources into unified platforms to enable comprehensive analysis.
• Drive development of advanced analytics models, machine learning algorithms, and AI applications to extract insights.
• Manage the creation of automated analytics tools and self-service dashboards to support operational efficiency and decision-making.
• Mentor and guide a high-performing team in communicating complex analyses clearly to influence strategic business levers.
• Partner cross-functionally to track and analyze key metrics such as marketing funnel dynamics, customer retention, product costs, and financial reporting.
• Ensure adherence to data security, privacy, and compliance standards while balancing accessibility needs.

• Extensive experience leading data strategy, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives at an enterprise level.
• Proven ability to manage modern cloud data ecosystems, including data pipelines, warehouses, and visualization tools.
• Deep expertise in data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience building, leading, and mentoring data teams with a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Business acumen and consultancy mindset, with familiarity in SaaS metrics, sales and marketing funnel analysis.
• Self-motivated and adaptable, able to prioritize competing demands and drive impact in a remote environment.
