Job Title: Assistant Food and Beverage Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-of-house restaurant operations, including bar management, and will be responsible for overseeing our banquet department, two onsite restaurants, and room service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of front-of-house restaurant and bar
- Train and supervise staff to ensure high-quality service
- Create and manage staff schedules to optimize service efficiency
- Prepare and analyze PMIX reporting for operational insights
- Oversee inventory management and control
- Assist in menu creation and development
- Manage social media presence and marketing initiatives
- Complete payroll for the food and beverage department
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of progressive restaurant management experience
- Experience in upscale and casual dining environments
- Preferred experience in banquet operations
- Must possess a valid food handlers license and TABC certification
- Ability to work flexible hours, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
