About the role -
In person in 5 days/week in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY
We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and modern deployment technologies to build and maintain the infrastructure that powers AI applications in our cloud and customer environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in architecture design, system reliability, and infrastructure automation to ensure our platform and customer platforms operate at scale with high availability and security.
Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions using Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker across multiple cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and deployment automation strategies
Ensure platform reliability, security, and performance through monitoring, alerting, and proactive maintenance
Build solutions to deploy and monitor our applications in customer environments
Architect solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, and efficient resource utilization
Collaborate with engineering teams to support deployment of our applications in customer environments when needed
Implement security best practices and compliance requirements across our infrastructure
Maintain and improve our Helm charts, Docker images, and deployment configurations
Drive infrastructure cost optimization and resource efficiency initiatives
Create comprehensive documentation for infrastructure architecture, runbooks, and operational procedures
Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in cloud-native infrastructure
How to be successful in this role
At least 3 years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role with focus on Kubernetes and cloud platforms
Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and container orchestration
Strong experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their managed services
Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
Strong understanding of networking, security, and distributed systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex infrastructure issues
Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with other engineers and customers
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive salary and equity stake for role and stage of company. Commensurate with experience.
Annual salary range: $135,000-$185,000 USD
