Associate General Counsel, Monetization (AI)
Serve as a team expert on global generative AI-related laws and regulations relevant to the advertising ecosystem Analyze global products, features, and initiatives and provide practical legal risk mitigation strategies for products across multiple jurisdictions Counsel product, engineering and business teams on compliance with existing data protection, competition, intellectual property and consumer protection laws as well as emerging legal frameworks Drive high-profile and high-impact projects involving legal analysis and compliance with cross-functional stakeholders across business, policy, legal, communications, security, and other cross-functional teams Manage a team of attorneys supporting the areas above
J.D. degree and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar (or foreign equivalent) 8+ years of practicing legal experience, including at a law firm and/or in-house experience Experience with advertising-related laws, regulations, principles, and industry guidelines, especially including those relevant for social media, internet and technology companies Business judgment and client counseling experience Experience managing attorneys across a range of subject matter areas In-house experience at a digital advertising, technology, social media or AI company Experience with global laws relating to AI, digital advertising, social media platforms and similar technologies Experience working proactively, independently and reliably under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment Experience collaborating in a multi-stakeholder environment, navigating complex issues, and driving high-impact projects
