Senior Product Manager, Back-Office Platforms

Mission Lane is a purpose-driven fintech company focused on empowering consumers through better financial products. They are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Back-Office Platforms to enhance internal systems and processes across Finance, HR, and Payroll, supporting business growth with scalable and compliant technology solutions.

Skills

  • Product management expertise with focus on back-office platforms.
  • Strong domain knowledge in Finance, HR, Payroll, especially in regulated industries.
  • Hands-on experience with Finance/Accounting systems such as NetSuite, Workday, SAP, or Oracle.
  • Cross-functional systems implementation and process reengineering experience.
  • Familiarity with data governance, compliance frameworks like SOX, and audit requirements.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Define and document technology and process needs for corporate back-office functions.
  • Collaborate with Finance, HR, Operations, Compliance, and other stakeholders to improve workflows and data integrity.
  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Serve as liaison between business units and technical teams ensuring clear alignment on complex financial concepts.
  • Develop and maintain a roadmap for internal back-office systems aligned with company objectives.
  • Lead system implementations and enhancements through cross-functional collaboration, including process mapping and testing.
  • Drive initiatives to improve system efficiency, data accuracy, reporting, and user experience within back-office platforms.
  • Manage relationships, contracts, and performance of third-party vendors.
  • Ensure systems comply with relevant regulatory and company policies.

Education

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related fields.
